Professional Bio

Joshua J Carson received his Associates in Computer Animation and a Bachelor of Science in Media Art and Animation from the Art Institute of Pittsburgh in 2001. He served as the Lead Motion Graphic Designer in 2003 and eventually became Art Director at WKRC-TV Local 12. After five years of extensive hands-on experience, he joined Top Gun as Art Director in 2008. He has been Creative Director for Top Gun Sales Performance since 2013.

Josh received an Emmy Nomination from the Ohio Valley NATAS for his work on the 2006 “Bengals Nation”, “Merle Norman Cosmetic Studios –Spring Color Collection”,  and the “WEBN Fireworks 2005”. He has since won several Telly Awards for his work with KPG Creative, a relationship that grew out of their collaborative relationship with Top Gun. During his 15+ years as a creative professional he has managed projects, lead teams, hired creatives and built brands.

When Josh isn’t working, he spends time with his family and friends gaming, kayaking, swimming, and perfecting his three-point shot on the basketball court.

Josh recently designed and helped launch the mobile app How2Life. He resides in Mason, Ohio with his wife Katherine and his two sons Jeremiah and Elijah.
