To create a standalone, web-based application to house and serve neonatal physician information for Prolacta associates. The application will read a local database and display information about a physician, their education, publications they have been published in, locations of work, and the other physicians that are affiliated with the subject physician based upon common affiliation in the aforementioned elements.
As the UX UI designer on the project I was responsible for the creation of keeping the look and feel and functionality of the application in line with the brand standards that had already been established for Prolacta Bioscience. I would meet with the SME and go over the data elements available from the backend with the lead developer Leo Rader. Several ideation sessions later after discussion of the forms and data to be returned I dove into the design process.
The initial sketches were quickly converted to Figma design elements and used to rough in very specific data elements into the initial designs. A few meetings later about how the data was to be presented to the end-users and designs were created and shared with the SME for sign-off.
Once the roadmap and design flow had been established the next phase was to build out the Html5 page templates utilizing Bootstrap Studio. The designs were also built to be fully responsive to screen size and set to be mobile-friendly before eventually being handed over to the lead developer Leo Rader for final implementation.
The finalized designs and demo from figma and bootstrap studio were passed off to Leo Rader for the final build.
"Josh, everything is great with the new search and doctor details pages, I think it will be perfect. It looks great and they can change and maintain the code easily moving forward."
